I tried saving a character with the method you described. When I went to put it in a new file, it also saved the actions in the timeline from the first file. Is there anyway to delete those actions?

Hello,I’ve noticed when reopening a project that ‘ if ‘ i have moved an item *asset* after having used it, the program tells me it wants me to find it again before it will open, very annoying. Does that happen if i save it to library 1st, also ~ does saving to library mean i can delete it from my comp, or am i just creating a copy in the library ~i.e doubling , and why would i want to do that ,if indeed i am ?

  9. jirospark says:

Anime Studio Debut 9 does not have these options. Can you help please.

What I have always done is delete the character in the Content Library first. Select Character, Click the “-” (minus) button. Then with the Main character layer selected in the Layers section you click the “+” (plus) button to save your updated character.

  18. occfilms says:

What if I saved a character in my library, then at a later time wanted to edit said character, add a switch later ect. How do I overwrite the previously saved character in the library to add the new changes? Or does it update it automatically when you click save?

  19. Devosimms says:

  22. TreJones80 . says:

I’m using Pro 9. Don’t know if it’s much different than 8. In the library, if you click on a Pro 9 character for example, Rachel, I get another box asking which direction(s) of Rachel I want to use (Front, Back, 45 degrees, ect.). Am I able to save my creations the same way to ask the poses that I want to use, or we can only save each pose individually?

Can you do a similar thing in Flash? I’ve made a character and want to animate it. I want to open a new project and then be able to import my character somehow. Anime Studio can do this with import ‘Anime Studio Object’. Does Flash do this?
