Bitmap VS Vector Graphics in Adobe Flash (Youtorial Demo)

In this lesson I cover the differences between vector and bitmap graphics. Vector graphics can be created with any drawing tool in Flash. There are some things to be aware of too, like Object VS Non-Object Drawing. Finally, we’ll uncover the ability to break apart our images and convert them into loose vector-based drawings.

This video is only a preview of the full lesson. To see the lesson, gain access to project files, and view the entire Introduction to Flash Basics series, please visit the Youtorial Marketplace.

vector images always look really cheap and over smoothed. I prefer bitmap for drawing soooooo much more

  3. [..YouTube..] HI LilredheadComics!I wanted to say your videos are awesome and SUPER helpful. I love what you are doing and please keep them coming! I just watched through this video and have a question for you regarding Adobe Fireworks which also is suppose to handle bitmap and vector. The problem I am having is even though I create a vector image, when I zoom in, it looks like a bitmap image. Why is this?
