It is a character that is a black and white outline, is there a way to break this picture down into several parts and make them separate layers that can be boned? [..YouTube..] @Geniusisdead..You should be able to kinda fix that by clicking on your pencil tool, going to the bottom of that toolbar and click on the the squiggly line (pencil mode) and going to smooth as opposed to straigthen

[..YouTube..] @tom5coat You don’t use the paint bucket tool to adjust the gradient, you use the gradient transform tool which is under the transform tool (click on the little arrow to see it). It’s the third tool from the top in CS3. Just play with the circle and arrow to see how they work (once you’ve found the tool).
[..YouTube..] the pain bucket tool isnt letting me adjust the gradient for going top to bottom it will only go from left to right. When I try to hold down the mouse and move up nothing happens.
