It’s safe to say that if you’re making a cartoon, you’re going to want more than one shot or scene. So how do you do that? I show you how to get started with this process by using Adobe Flash’s scene panel.
[..YouTube..] btw according to Adobes official website in regard to using the scene panel they say “if a document contains two scenes with ten frames each, the frames in Scene 2 are numbered 11–20.”… That would be great if it were actually true. I notice that isn’t happening for you, or at least not in this video.
[..YouTube..] Hey your videos are great! Thank you so much. 1 thing I can’t figure out though is how to use the scene panel when my characters are symbols. When I try this all the animation from within the symbols timeline carries over to every scene. For ex. if I have a characters mouth moving from frame 10 to 20 on scene 1 then his mouth will move from 10 to 20 in every scene. I was wondering if you had away around this. Either way thank you for the great videos.
[..YouTube..] Aren’t there any other ways in flash? That seems a little bit unusal and inacurat. Or is the best possibilety to make the camera effects with an other programm?
[..YouTube..] As2 is outdated, it’s a broken language and the more you get into it the more you will understand why… Don’t even bother learning it. As3 is way more object oriented, it’s faster and it’s more like other languages so when you know that, you can learn java, javascript, c# in a few weeks. The programming forums at kongregate(dot)com should be a pretty good place to start

[..YouTube..] Quite a good tutorial. If you don’t mind me asking though. How do you line up background music when you go from scene to scene in this way? Do you edit the music before hand or is there a way to let flash know how to keep playing the music normally?
[..YouTube..] Thank you very much for the tutorial.it helps me a lot to understand flash better C:
[..YouTube..] But does the audio carry over if you have 1 track?
[..YouTube..] That character has one ugly huge ass pimple.
